Michael H Kaleikini

Michael is a single father, youngest son, and brother to many. Whether they are blood related or not, his heart endears many and he loves putting people at ease. His voice has a soothing effect and at time can be the voice that gets you excited too. He started Java Chat to bring great info and insights to you the listener.
Michael began his career in business development and marketing in 2006 after he graduated with his Bachelors in Business Administration with a Marketing Distinction. He then started to learn online marketing as fast as possible. With stints in affiliate marketing and google ppc, he learned by doing and learning from mentors that helped him understand how to practically apply what he learned in college to real life.

In 2009, he began working with an angel investor group that worked with tech products and learned from the inside what it took to get the interests of investors. First he was a marketing consultant for online advertising, then once he learned how they operated, they offered him a investment managers position in Nevada. Business was picking up and downtown was being revived with new tech businesses looking for funding through then CEO of Zappos, Tony Hsieh. Michael learned quickly what the investors would take and he was able to guide potential investments either to the group or to other potentially interested investors.

Fast forward, in 2018 Java Chat was born on Anchor.fm. It was a curious beginning as he had never done podcasting before and wanted to get his feet wet. So he began recording using his phone and dropping notes from experience He knew there had to be more so he listened to a few other podcasts and once he saw what they could do for branding, and increasing business exposure as well as getting new clients, he decided to get a bit more serious.

Over the past couple of years he’s shifted from personal commentary on numerous subjects to interviewing experts in the realms of Startups, tech, mindset, mental health, personal development, professional development, health related issues, Capital raising, Computer science, and as of late Artificial Intelligence and how it can help your business generate better qualified leads.
